“Nothing for us, without us” – RNUD launches strong call for improved public and political participation of the deaf and hard of hearing

A delegation from One UN Rwanda recently visited Rubavu DIstrict in Western Rwanda, to attend an interaction meeting between District officials and members of the Rwanda National Union for the Deaf (RNUD). The purpose of the interaction meeting was to relay to them in person the issues facing deaf people and those hard of hearing, and to suggest ways to alleviate some of those issues.
