The United Nations Development Assistance Plan (UNDAP) is the business plan for the UN agencies, funds and programmes in Rwanda for the period July 2013 to June 2018. It outlines the activities the UN will undertake.
The Rwanda UNDAP supports the realization of the Millennium Declaration, related Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and other international development aspirations, the transition from the MDGs to the post-2015 framework, the country’s medium-term national development priorities as set out in the Economic Development and Poverty Reduction Strategy (EDPRS 2) for the period 2013-2018, as well as the Rwanda Vision 2020. It is also intended to support the promotion of all the international human rights that have been ratified by Rwanda, including the right to humanitarian assistance for refugees.
The One UN Rwanda supports the country's development in the following areas: Poverty Reduction, Agriculture, Industry, Trade and Regional Integration, Youth and Women Employment, Urbanization, and Environment.
